Every one was asking about the song. Who wrote the song. Who wrote the lyrics. Who play the instruments. Who composed it and who engineer it.

All is done by me.

I am actually a person which quite easily get bored, I will make my own effort to make my music or other music to effect my own emotions, energy and hype. It is for my own entertainment.

In music industry if you don't have lots of money to put into one song, you need to rely on others opinions and works. To cut that investment or spending, I learn all the stuff by myself. Cost saving but time investing. Music is just like investment for a long term. As I do not chase fame. That is not my first prior since that shall be the last one.

At the end, it is so worth as I grow my own intellectual asset and skilled. I always learn from the expert or the person/group that eventually has run into the first place to seek guidance and experience. For my case, my time is my investment. So I am actually a person that appreciate time so much.

I learn lots of mistake and failed many times to reach where I am today. I realize my mistake and fail at the past is the best teacher for my ownself which taught me to remember the past to not do the same mistake again. I encourage mistake and fail on my path rather than scare to embrace it in the first place. I do not punish myself for the mistake I have done but I grateful for it to comes early so that I know the road I was taken is not working.

In my life, there is no right or wrong. All is right.

It just only left another lesson to learn, right?

My mission is to create a masterpiece for my owns. My song is what my heart say. It was not intended for others nor to show skills. It just only for my own purpose of satisfaction.

Since it gets lots of media attention, people likes my song. For me, it just unintentionally discovered.

I always wanted my own records that sound 100% organically to what my own imagination, what my heart feels at the moment and my identity sound output. Sometimes when lots of people put their mix together, your identity gone. It is not bad to corporates with other on your own song but I love to work with people that have same ideas and same groove towards my idea projection. If you need your own fresh masterpiece, you must have done all by yourself. So it can be just originally organically pure by the artist.

Choosing the right instrument, mixing with the right notes it literally can change everything. For me, music can be described equal to cooking. When all ingredients fresh, cooked with the right temperature and mix up with the right amount heat- it can create a masterpiece.

My songs is my masterpieces. Projected from my heart. I rarely use my brains into producing music except when it comes to technical music that doesn't need any feeling or emotions.

Keep it simple is the most crucial things for listener. From that formula, it will create an anthem.

Simple, anthem and repetitive is the art of masterpieces. This are my base of foundation to produce great music. That is the motto.

Being part time sound engineer when another artists needs my expertise, listening and ideology of the songs is very important things in my work. When it done properly, it can create a very catchy song. Every song must have their own identity. It is like create a trademark to the artist. It just only need one song to go viral for public awareness and boom.

Every song has its own emotional. Every song has its own identity. It is like give your child's a name and with that born to their characteristic and identity. Every song has its own feeling and characteristic. Same like individual.

Every song should be masterpieces and every times your song published, people will value your work. This will create your own base follower that resemble to your song or identity. Only people with the same heart will follows to the same heart.

I will always make sure every song that came out from me is masterpieces. If one song can get artist viral and recognisable, why not put it all songs into masterpieces.

This is the base foundation of every international artist out there. My songs more appreciated to neighbor country like Brunei, Sabah, Sarawak, Singapore & Indonesia. Especially Indonesia which appreciate my songs so much. As I remember back than when my first hit single song called 'HAUS' which mean 'HUNGER' or 'THRISTY' being top songs back then at Indonesia before my next song of 'Satu Negara Untuk Semua' blasted on most of malaysian's radio for the Hari Merdeka song competition but I lost to Faizal Tahir.

After those song, I released mixtape song called 'LIHAT BULAN' which also had become a phenomenon that people get lost into the lyrics just before release another mixtape acoustic which most of audience love to hear it called 'KATAKAN SAJA' where fans resemble it as satisfying acoustic emo. Sooner later after continuous year without a song, I released another mixtape called 'TONIK' which caught Indonesian media attention as for them it is a symbolic or tribute to the melodramatic Radja band where critics loves it. Weird.

I remembered back then, I was auditioned on Akademi Fantasia 8 and failed to impress the judge where Amy Search says to me, 'Zul, not ok.. not ok.." that lead to Shahir won the stage at the final.

What left now is that all the artist gone without no more album, no more signing contract, do not have cost to put on the song. But engineer like me survived because I can still make my song with zero cost and my song still can be heard without the publicity. I still can make a dime with it and sold worldwide.

With the modern tools like youtube, it can be accessible mainstream anywhere. For me, this is just a blessing since it is not a major problem for me since I have online marketing knowledge that can benefit my career for a long run.

With the right technology nowadays, every one can sing where he/she can't sing well. With my experiences more than 10 years into music making, I can do and make it right for new uprising or upcoming artist to discover their identity and talents. Some uprising artist do not know yet their true own identity which tally their persona, voice and genre but once it unlocked, the true potential is coming.

By the way, despite song making, I like to do songs advertisement for commercial company as well just for freelance. Just for fun to fulfil my free time.

Every one is asking when is my next debut album coming. When I will come out with english or mandarin songs.

But,
I have surprise for my fans and I am pretty sure they will love it.
Time will tell.
